Luck and Nevitt to play in North/South Game

Tri-County seniors Grace Luck and Madilyn Nevitt will be participating in the Indiana Softball Coach's Association North/South All-Star Game. This game will be played on June 20th at the Andy Mohr Softball Complex in Bloomington, Indiana on the IU Campus. The first game will start at 10:15 a.m. and will be a double header. The two seniors helped lead the Lady Cavs to a 20-5 record which included a 7-0 Midwest Conference record earning them the programs first MWC championship since 2007. Luck finished the year hitting .600 with 50 runs scored, 25 RBI and stole 38 bases. On the mound she went 4-1 with a 0.95 ERA and 60 strikeouts in 36.2 innings pitched. Nevitt finished with a .521 batting average, scoring 33 runs and driving in a team leading 42 runs. On the mound Nevitt went 15-2 with a 1.19 ERA while striking out 221 hitters in 105.2 innings. While at Tri-County the two combined to set 11 school records. Grace Luck leaves holding the school records for Highest Batting Average in a Career, Most RBI in a season, Most runs scored in a season, Most Hits in a season, Most Hits in a Career, Most Stolen Bases in a Season, Best Winning Percentage and Lowest ERA in a season. Madilyn Nevitt finishes with Most Strikeouts in a Season, Most Strikeouts in a Career as well as Most Wins in a Season. Congratulations and good luck in the All Star game!
